Katherine Winge C-IAYT

My intention is to create an inclusive and welcoming space where students of different abilities can explore the profound connection between body, heart, and mind.

Katherine Winge Aqua Yoga

With over 20 years of yoga practice and more than a decade of teaching experience (both on land and in water), I am passionate about guiding others on their journey of self-discovery and healing.

Yoga and meditation have been my anchors, helping me stay grounded and focused on what truly matters. My personal practice is rooted in opening the subtle body, cultivating compassion—for myself and others—and expanding my capacity for presence and joy.

I am certified as a yoga therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and have completed teacher trainings with the Yoga Studies Institute, Dharma Yoga, and Aqua Kriya Yoga. As a Senior Teacher and Teacher Trainer for Aqua Kriya Yoga, I specialize in making yoga accessible through water-based practices. I am also a Trained Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher and a graduate of the Hakomi Institute's two-year Comprehensive Training.

My teaching style draws inspiration from classic hatha yoga, Tibetan Heart Yoga, and functional yoga practices. Rooted in the Kriya Yoga, Mahayana, and Gelugpa traditions, I feel immense gratitude for my teachers and the wisdom they have shared with me.
